About
This is one of those songs that started very gentle and slowly evolved over time. I am always happy to sing this in circles, as it brings so much togetherness when people add their own words to the mix.
The asterisk in the verse (*) marks a word to replace each repetition with whatever comes up in the moment — gratitude, unity, compassion, friendship, family, joy, music, freedom… the list goes on and on.
Every moment of every day, you plant seeds in the garden of your life, in the form of thoughts and where you put your attention. What does your garden look like? Is it filled with blossoming flowers and fruit trees? Or is it filled with weeds that you'd prefer to get rid of? Perhaps it's time to let go of some plants, and make room for new seedlings.
